Bathroom Expansion & Custom Shower in Buffalo Grove, IL
Bathroom expansion project featuring a 31-inch extension into the utility room, new shower plumbing and drain, custom tiled shower, recessed niche, waterproofing, and customer-selected tile and glass shower door.
The Challenge
The existing bathroom needed additional space to accommodate a larger and more functional shower area.
The project required extending the bathroom approximately 31 inches into the adjacent utility room while working around the existing structure and plumbing.
The new shower also required a new drain connection, hot and cold water supply lines, a custom shower base, waterproofing, and careful tile installation.
Our Solution
Euro Pros expanded the bathroom by removing a portion of the existing non-load-bearing wall and extending the bathroom approximately 31 inches into the utility room.
We framed and finished the new wall and constructed a custom tiled shower with new drainage and water supply connections. The shower was built with cement backer board, a waterproofing system, followed by customer-selected subway tile, grout, and a customer-provided glass shower door.
