Direct application of finishing paint to bare wood can lead to issues like premature drying, weakening, and paint chipping. Primers are crucial as they protect wood from warping, mold, and water-induced damage. They also help in achieving uniform color and hiding wood texture, reducing the need for multiple paint layers.
We recommend applying the primer evenly over the entire surface using a roller and a brush for hard-to-reach areas. The primer typically dries in about 2 hours, depending on weather conditions.
